The 70 million dollar development is located just off of Interstate I-26 at Exit 145-A. This 50 +/- acres will be located on Hwy. 601 North, next to Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.
The development will feature venues for dining, retail, entertainment, lodging and residential living. The environment of the SIXO1 will aesthetically lend itself to a business and welcome center with high-tech executive suites, boutique restaurants, an amphitheater for movies, music and community events, a media center, and green space with water features and beautiful lighting. The development is aimed at creating a “Special Lifestyle” for the local community as well as our visitors.
Over the course of the next five years as SIXO1 continues to develop and grow, it will create an excess of 500 jobs, both full-time and part-time, which will provide an economic boost to the community and most importantly a port of destination for the community to enjoy!
The permitting and warranting of the new traffic signal, new 4-way junction and new roads including the primary entrance (McLean Lane) is underway.
